Surviving Aliens with the Cast of ‘Alien: Romulus’

For 45 years, the Alien anthology has been the stuff of absolute nightmare fuel for sci-fi and horror fans. The simple concept of a haunted house film set in space worked so brilliantly and effectively that it quickly became a staple in cinema for decades.

Now the franchise is making a terrifying new comeback in Alien: Romulus, and we were lucky enough to chat with the cast of the upcoming highly anticipated new chapter direct from San Diego Comic-Con!

It’s not easy to put a fresh spin on a perfect film like Alien (1979). Filmmakers like the legendary David Fincher, and even Ridley Scott himself, have tried to mixed results. But filmmaker Fede Álvarez intends to restore the franchise back to its pure gory horror roots. And he has just the team of talented young actors to do it! Fresh off the amazing panel that took place Friday in the legendary Hall H, the cast, including Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux, Isabela Merced, and Spike Fearn, were able to give us some time to talk about the scares and trauma of this franchise, as well as the fondness they have for it as well!

Check out what they had to say right here:

Alien: Romulus hits theaters August 16.

However if you think we are done sharing some cool stuff about the film with you, think again! We have much more Alien goodness, including an interview with director Álvarez coming to you all soon! Stay tuned!
