The Seven Get Savage for ‘The Boys’ Season 5

What do you get when you take a narcissistic figurehead for your country with a fragile ego, give him power he shouldn’t have, give him an army of followers to round up his critics, and allow him to cut loose doing whatever he wants with that power? Well in addition to America in 2026, you get the world of The Boys.

‘Ready or Not’ Here Comes Radio Silence, aka Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett

Ready or Not came out almost 7 years ago. And while the film, of course, made star Samara Weaving a household name, it also skyrocketed directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (aka “Radio Silence”) into the stratosphere. In the aftermath of the surprise hit, Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett successfully relaunched the then-dormant Scream franchise with two of its best installments, and brought us an amazing little surprise in Abigail. Now, they’re bringing back Weaving’s Grace for another killer game of hide and seek with Ready or Not 2: Here I Come!

NOC Review: ‘Ready or Not 2’ Here Comes a Bloody Badass Sequel

When Ready or Not premiered in 2019, it quickly became a surprise hit, cementing Samara Weaving as a rising horror star and establishing Grace Le Domas MacCaullay as one of the genre’s great modern Final Girls. For me, as well, it was an immensely enjoyable surprise, coming out of nowhere to become one of my favorite movies in a year stacked with heavy hitters like Avengers: Endgame and Parasite.

Breaking Down the Trailer for ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’

At its core Star Wars has always been about rebels and underdogs standing up to dictators using their own private armies to take over the galaxy. Since its debut in 2019, The Mandalorian strengthened those themes, centering on a ragtag duo of outcasts fighting the good fight against villains still trying their hardest to hold on to authoritarianism. Now the battle continues on the big screen as Din Djarin and Grogu return in The Mandalorian and Grogu!

Talking About ‘TRON: Ares’ with Arturo Castro

I loved TRON: Ares! Based on reviews from my fellow colleagues, I’m glad to know I’m not the only one. Entering The Grid with the Cast and Director of ‘TRON: Ares’

Fun fact: I’ve actually been obsessed with TRON for a long time. Both the original TRON and TRON: Legacy were films that were ahead of their time, with creator Steven Lisberger and future Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski exploring themes such as the dangers of corporate greed and the abuse of technology and power in both films.
