Leah Sava’ Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri Tease ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Season 3

Leah Sava’ Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri star in Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which is set to return for its third season later this year. While covering the Disney 2026 Upfront Red Carpet, I asked the duo what impressed them most about each other’s work in the upcoming season or series overall.

The third season is based on the third installment of Rick Riordan’s bestselling Disney Hyperion book series, The Titan’s Curse. All episodes of the first and second seasons are currently streaming on Disney+ and Hulu.

“I mean, there’s not much that she can do that doesn’t impress me, especially in season three,” Simhadri expressed. “Without getting into too many spoilers, there’s a lot of really strenuous moments for Annabeth; she has to really deal with a lot of internal conflicts that she’s kind of been pushing to the side, and it’s a difficult thing for any actor to perform. It’s one of those things where sometimes I’ll see a performance, and I’ll get mad, because I know that if I got that role, no matter how much time I got, I wouldn’t have been able to do that. That’s definitely how I feel about Leah’s performance.”

“Grover, the way he’s written, there’s not a lot of dark fierceness to him, but somehow with you, you figure out how to bring that humorous side, that comedic side, but also making sure that he’s still a hero and he still protects his people,” Jeffries shared. “When you think of Grover, you just think of funny, you think of happy and bubbly, but there’s also times that you are able to code-switch Grover and make him be this person that’s like, oh, I didn’t know he could be like that. Not in a way of mean, but like, just look how he turns into this person of seriousness when he needs to protect his people.”
