The season 5 finale of This Is Us just aired, which means we will now be heading into the show’s final season. That’s right — season 6 of This Is Us will be the last one. The new season will air during its traditional Tuesday night timeslot (9PM ET) during NBC’s midseason 2021-22. This will give fans a largely uninterrupted midseason run.

This Is Us chronicles the Pearson family across the decades: from Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) starting their life together in the 1980s to their kids, Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz), and Randall (Sterling K.
