If you’re a fan of Disney and Loungefly, you’re in for a real treat! Last Friday, Lougefly unveiled their latest line for the Disney 100 anniversary. Celebrating the magic of animation, the set includes several Sketchbook designs, commemorating the legacy that all started with a mouse. Mickey: The True Original Exhibition is a Colorful Playground for Disnerds

Then you’re a #TrueOriginal Mickey fan and the Mickey: True Original Exhibition in New York City is for you. The exhibit is also for those who aren’t hip to the power of the Mouse. The exhibit walks visitors through the history of Mickey Mouse — from Steamboat Willie to the latest Mickey x Vans collection (I want those Fantasia hi-tops so badly!) — and his influence on art and popular culture.

Hello Kitty, Not Actually a Kitty — Or Asian

In a stunning development, it has been revealed that Hello Kitty, Sanrio’s iconic — and forever mouthless — character is not, and has never been, an actual cat. How is that possible, you ask? Beats me.

The Los Angeles Times broke the news today — in advance of a special exhibit at the Japanese American National Museum in Little Tokyo — in an interview with noted Hello Kitty scholar Christine R. Yano:
