The editing process is actually where a movie finds itself. Booksmart was one of the very best films of 2019, making it an incredibly terrific debut for first-time director, Olivia Wilde. Wilde crafted an absolutely hilarious film with a sharp script and star-making performances from Kaitlyn Dever and Beanie Feldstein. She employed hilarious stop motion techniques and stylish indie sensibility with the feel of a classic teenage coming-of-age romp.
