The Explosive Trailer for Guy Ritchie’s ‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’

Whoo! This one looks like a real trip! The latest from director Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes, Snatch) is here. And for this endeavor Ritchie has assembled the most “ungentlemanly” band of rogues imaginable. Here’s the explosive new trailer for The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare!

Based on the book, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare: How Churchill’s Secret Warriors Set Europe Ablaze and Gave Birth to Modern Black Ops by Damien Lewis, the film follows a top-secret combat unit, composed of a motley crew of rogues and mavericks led by Henry Cavill’s Gus March-Phillipps, as they go on a daring mission against the Nazis using entirely unconventional and utterly “ungentlemanly” fighting techniques.

The movie looks and feels like a true Inglorious Basterds-type story. And Ritchie’s hyper-kinetic style seems to lend itself incredibly well to the insane looking action.

It looks absolutely insane!

In addition to Cavill, the cast also includes Eiza González, Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding, and Cary Elwes. And Lionsgate also provided some new photos of the film, which you can view below.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare hits theaters on April 19!
