Disneyland Resort Adds Bluey and ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ to Their 2026 Offerings

Disneyland Resort had plenty to celebrate in 2025. Beyond the usual Lunar New Year, Food & Wine Festival, Halloween, and Christmas offerings, the resort also marked its 70th anniversary. Now, as we step into 2026, guests can look forward to returning favorites like after-hours parties and new additions that take them even deeper into a galaxy far, far away. Not only that, but they can see Bluey in the park for the first time.

Building on the momentum of 2025, Disneyland Resort will keep the 70th Celebration going with returning favorites across both parks. Beginning in January, guests will once again be able to experience “World of Color Happiness!,” “Tapestry of Happiness,” “The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade,” “Wondrous Journeys,” and the fan-favorite “Paint the Night” parade. The celebration will run through August 9, 2026, giving fans one more year to enjoy the anniversary slate.

One of the standout additions arrives on March 22, 2026, when Fantasyland Theatre transforms into the world of “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” This new immersive experience brings the heart, humor, and playfulness of the acclaimed Disney+ series to life. Throughout the day, Bluey and Bingo will appear live on stage alongside actors and musicians, leading musical moments, iconic games like Keepy Uppy, and interactive activities throughout a life-sized Gnome Village and Fairy Garden. Guests can also find themed bites at Troubadour Tavern inspired by the show.

Several new attractions and experiences will launch throughout the year. On May 22, 2026, “Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run” introduces a new mission featuring The Mandalorian and Grogu, timed to coincide with the release of the upcoming Star Wars film of the same name. Soarin’ debuts an all-new version, Soarin’ Across America, beginning July 2 in honor of the U.S. semiquincentennial. The beloved Disneyland Railroad guided tour returns January 16, with reservations opening January 8.

The 2026 festival and event lineup also returns in full force. Lunar New Year kicks things off January 23 through February 22, welcoming the Year of the Horse with cultural performances, character meet-and-greets, and new attire inspired by Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean traditions. Celebrate Gospel moves to Downtown Disney District for two weekends in February, followed by Anaheim Ducks Day on February 22 and the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival running March 6 through April 27.

Disney On the Yard returns June 19 with Yardfest: Powered by Celebrate Soulfully. D23 Day at Disneyland Resort arrives August 13, followed by the Disney Jr. Let’s Play Party at Disney California Adventure and Downtown Disney from August 13 to 16. Seasonal favorites including Halloween Time (August 21 through October 31), Plaza de la Familia (August 21 through November 2), and Holidays at the Disneyland Resort (beginning November 18) all make their way back, ensuring the parks are packed with celebrations year-round.

The continuation of Lunar New Year, Celebrate Gospel, and Plaza de la Familia showcases how Disneyland Resort is carrying its signature cultural celebrations into 2026, offering guests even more ways to connect with the traditions and stories that define the resort’s seasonal magic.

After-hours events also continue to expand in 2026. Disneyland After Dark will host five themed parties at Disneyland Park, including Sweethearts’ Nite in January and February and the new 70 Years of Favorites event in early March. Additional themes returning later in the year include Disney Channel Nite, Star Wars Nite, and Pride Nite, with ticket details to be announced. Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure grows to its largest schedule yet, offering 33 event nights beginning August 18.

To help families plan ahead, Disneyland is offering a variety of ticket and hotel promotions for 2026 visits. A new Kids’ Summer Ticket Offer launches January 21, 2026, allowing children ages 3 through 9 to visit for as low as 50 dollars with a 1-Day Park Hopper ticket for visits May 22 through September 7. Multi-day options and Lightning Lane add-ons are also available. Families booking an on-property stay between May 22 and September 7 can save up to 25 percent on hotel stays of four nights or more, also beginning January 21.

For visits earlier in the year, Eligible California Residents can purchase discounted 3-Day Park Hopper tickets for visits January 1 through May 21, 2026, with or without the Lightning Lane Multi Pass option. Guests can also save up to 25 percent on Disneyland Resort hotel stays of three or more nights during that same window.

With its calendar now set, new entertainment on the way, and one of the biggest years of offerings in recent memory, Disneyland Resort is giving guests plenty of reasons to start planning their 2026 vacations early.
