The Relevance of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 in the Era of ICE

Let’s make no mistake about this. This first month of 2026 has proven to be a disgusting era in US history, with the president’s ICE patrols continuing to kidnap and murder people on the streets of Minneapolis and all around the country. The irony of all of the horrors here is that it makes a Marvel Studios show, like Daredevil: Born Again — set in a fantastical universe — feel so tragically close to home. However, in many ways, that’s why we need Matt Murdock now way more than ever before.

Krysten Ritter Discusses Directing ‘The Girl in the Woods’

Krysten Ritter serves as director and co-executive producer of The Girl in the Woods. She directed the first four episodes, including the pilot. All eight episodes will begin streaming Thursday, October 21 on Peacock. The series is based on Crypt TV’s 2018 short film The Door in the Woods and the 2020 sequel The Girl in the Woods.

Peacock Has Shared the Official Trailer for ‘The Girl In The Woods’

The Girl In The Woods is a supernatural YA drama about a mysterious door in the woods that leads to a terrifying monster dimension. The cast includes Stefanie Scott (Carrie), Misha Osherovich (Nolan), Sofia Bryant (Tasha), Will Yun Lee (Arthur Dean), Kylie Liya Page (Sara), Reed Diamond (Hosea), and Leonard Roberts (Khalil). All eight episodes of the new Peacock Original will drop on Thursday, October 21.
