While new episodes of the fifth season will return on Wednesday, August 11, Riverdale will be then be moving to a new night for its sixth season. The show will start the new season in the fall, now sharing Tuesdays with The Flash.
Both shows will then return with special five-episode events to begin their new seasons. Riverdale will air after new episodes of The Flash at 9:00PM ET/PT.
The series, based on the characters from the Archie Comics, stars KJ Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Madelaine Petsch, Mӓdchen Amick, Casey Cott, Mark Consuelos, Charles Melton, Vanessa Morgan, Erinn Westbrook, and Drew Ray Tanner.
