Exclusive ‘Hit-Monkey’ Season 2 Clip Introduces Leslie Jones as Eunice

Marvel’s Hit-Monkey Season 2 is set to premiere 10 episodes on July 15 on Hulu! Co-created by Josh Gordon and Will Speck, the dark, comedic animated series follows a Japanese macaque, aka Snow Monkey (Fred Tatasciore), who becomes an assassin bent on revenge, guided by the spirit of a hitman named Bryce (Jason Sudeikis).

After the events of Season 1, Monkey relocates from Tokyo to New York City and must deal with his new status as the famed “killer of killers.” With Bryce back in his hometown, he attempts to repair the damage he caused to the people he left behind, including his estranged daughter, Iris (Cristin Milioti).

Bryce’s fouled-mouth former agent, Eunice (Leslie Jones), is introduced in the series as an ally for Monkey, assisting in his survival in the mean streets of New York and offering him a job. Things become a bit complicated when Haruka (Ally Maki) arrives from Tokyo alongside other magical/spiritual elements.

In the exclusive clip, provided by Hulu, Monkey and Bryce argue about what to do with a possessed Haruka (Ally Maki). Eunice then barges in, demanding to know Monkey’s intentions of working with her when one of her people is killed. It all becomes too much for Monkey as all three — Haruka, Bryce, and Eunice — talk over each other. Monkey notices the ground shaking as if something is approaching. A giant creature’s hand reaches into the building, grabs Haruka, and proceeds to walk away. Bryce and Monkey quickly go into action to retrieve their possessed friend.
