Marvel’s ‘Thunderbolts*’ Proves Anyone Can Be a Hero, Says Director Jake Schreier and Cast

Marvel is no stranger to mental health and trauma when it comes to their heroes and villains. Many of their greatest heroes have been in a place of uncertainty – Thor losing himself (and gaining weight) after Infinity War; Rocket Raccoon’s past trauma and found family; Wanda’s grief overtaking an entire town; and many other heroes dealing with post-traumatic stress disorders. Yet, as the heroes in the story, they persevered while saving many lives.

Marvel Studios Hits Hall H Hard with Huge Announcements and Surprises

Comic-Con is like Christmas for Marvel Nerds! The annual convention in San Diego has been the home of major Marvel Studios announcements since 2007, when Kevin Feige and Robert Downey Jr. brought the first Iron Man to Hall H. Well it’s wonderful to know some things don’t change. And almost 20 years later, the duo has united once more to deliver some jaw dropping bombs to the unsuspecting attendees in Hall H this year.

Moving ‘Onward’: The Personal Story Behind The Upcoming Disney/Pixar Feature

“We’ve all lost someone, and if we could spend one more day with them,” Dan Scanlon, Writer/Director of Onward wonders aloud, “what an exciting opportunity that would be.” Disney and Pixar’s upcoming feature, Onward introduces two teenage elf brothers who embark on an extraordinary quest after receiving their late father’s letter along with a mysterious spell that will give them one day with him. The story is inspired by Writer/Director, Dan Scanlon’s relationship with his brother and their connection with their dad who passed away when he was about a year old.
