On the most anticipated evening of this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, 6,000 fans crowded into the massive convention center auditorium known as Hall H to hear about the highly anticipated new projects from SDCC MVPs Marvel Studios.
However, elsewhere in San Diego, a small group of journalists gathered together preparing to intercept the night’s A-List assembly of superheroes and villains in a much more intimate venue, to discuss the announcements and learn more about the upcoming projects. And I’m most proud to say The Nerds of Color was among the lucky few present.
This year, Marvel Studios brought in the heavy hitters for 2025: Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts*, and of course, The Fantastic Four: First Steps. And we were lucky enough to speak to several of the key cast members and directors from each of the different projects at the Marvel Studios SDCC Press Line. Chief among those we were able to speak to were Harrison Ford, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Geraldine Viswanathan, Lewis Pullman, Florence Pugh, directors Matt Shakman and Jake Schreier, Hannah John-Kamen, Wyatt Russell, Sebastian Stan, and David Harbour!
To hear what the next generation of MCU stars had to reveal about their upcoming projects, check out our interviews right here:
Captain America: Brave New World hits theaters February 14, 2025.
Thunderbolts* hits theaters May 2, 2025.
And The Fantastic Four: First Steps hits theaters July 25, 2025!
And keep an eye out to The Nerds of Color for more MCU news and updates as they unfold!
