My Adventures with Superman sees Clark Kent (Jack Quaid) in his early days as the titular hero, alongside Lois Lane (Alice Lee) and Jimmy Olsen (Ishmel Sahid) accompanying him in his adventures. And in his young career, a LOT has happened, as My Adventures with Superman seamlessly incorporates a tremendous amount of the Superman mythos.

Now, after Season 2 in which Clark found his cousin Kara Zor-El (Kiana Madeira) and rescued her from the brainwashing clutches of Brainiac (Michael Emerson) to be his new co-hero as Supergirl, he and Kara must adjust to their ever expanding roles as Metropolis’ protectors, as they both struggle to balance their personal lives with their super-heroics. But when a mysterious visitor comes to town, they, Lois, and Jimmy encounter far more than they might be able to handle.

Co-executive producers and showrunners Jake Wyatt and Brendan Clogher and their team have struck a delicate and incredibly effective balance at showcasing the show’s various characters and their world saving responsibilities, while also incorporating an incredible amount of the Superman mythos in ten episode seasons.

We discussed this with Wyatt and Clogher, along with the further development of Supergirl, what it’s like doing a Superman show during a Superman cultural renaissance, what Superman means to them, and much more. You can find our interview on YouTube here:
