August 11 can’t come soon enough with Riverdale fans desperate for the show’s return. Yesterday, fans were treated to a brand new trailer for the second half of the fifth season. Now, The CW has released a new poster to hype up the show’s return even more. The poster gives fans a look at KJ Apa as Archie, Camila Mendes as Veronica, Lili Reinhart as Betty, Cole Sprouse as Jughead, Madelaine Petsch as Cheryl, Casey Cott as Kevin, Charles Melton as Reggie, Vanessa Morgan as Toni, Erinn Westbrook as Tabitha, and Drew Ray Tanner as Fangs.

Paramount+ Has Renewed ‘iCarly’ for Season 2

Paramount+ just announced that iCarly has been renewed for a second season! The new series picks up nearly 10 years after Nickelodeon’s original show ended and stars Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor, Nathan Kress, Laci Mosley, and Jaidyn Triplett. The original iCarly ran from 2007-2012. New episodes of season 1 drop every Thursday for subscribers. iCarly is also set to debut in the Nordics and Latin America on July 30 and Australia on August 11. Production on the new season will begin this fall.

NOC Interview: Loren Bouchard and Nora Smith Tease ‘Central Park’ Season 2

Loren Bouchard and Nora Smith are the creators, writers, and executive producers of Central Park season two alongside Josh Gad. The animated musical comedy series first premiered last May and is produced by 20th Television for Apple. It has also been recognized with an Emmy Award nomination for star Leslie Odom Jr., as well as an NAACP Image Award nomination in the Outstanding Animated Series category. Freeform’s ‘Cruel Summer’ Has Been Renewed for a Season 2

An all-new season of Freeform’s Cruel Summer is coming in 2022! The hit Freeform series was renewed for a season 2 the day of the season 1 finale and fans are hyped. The series stars Olivia Holt, Chiara Aurelia, Michael Landes, Froy Gutierrez, Harley Quinn Smith, Allius Barnes, Blake Lee, and Brooklyn Sudano. According to a press release, Cruel Summer is the network’s most-watched series ever, ranking as the No. 1 new cable drama of the year among Women 18-34, with the most recent episode delivering the drama’s biggest linear TV audience yet—surging by 31% over its premiere. In MP35, the series averages 6.8 million viewers per episode.

The CW Announces Fall Premiere Date for ‘Riverdale’ Season 6

The CW has just revealed its premiere dates for the Fall 2021 primetime schedule! It was announced back in May that Riverdale would be moving to a new night in The CW’s schedule after season 5 finishes, which will continue airing on Wednesday, August 11. For its sixth season, the show will now share Tuesday nights with The Flash. Both shows will begin their new seasons with five episode special events on Tuesday, November 16. Riverdale‘s timeslot will be 9 – 10 PM ET/PT, after new episodes of The Flash.
