Paramount+ Has Renewed ‘iCarly’ for Season 2

Paramount+ just announced that iCarly has been renewed for a second season! The new series picks up nearly 10 years after Nickelodeon’s original show ended and stars Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor, Nathan Kress, Laci Mosley, and Jaidyn Triplett. The original iCarly ran from 2007-2012. New episodes of season 1 drop every Thursday for subscribers. iCarly is also set to debut in the Nordics and Latin America on July 30 and Australia on August 11. Production on the new season will begin this fall.

The new iCarly, produced by Nickelodeon Studios, premiered back in June. According to a press release, the series quickly became one of the streaming service’s top acquisition drivers, ranking among Paramount+’s most-streamed titles since the series’ debut. Season 1 is a total of 13-episodes.

iCarly is executive produced by Ali Schouten and Cosgrove; Schouten also serves as showrunner. Trainor and Alissa Vradenburg are both as producers.
