Arden Cho Stars in Netflix’s ‘Partner Track’

It looks like we’re getting another Asian-led career series from Netflix. Fresh off the success of Sandra Oh’s The Chair, the streaming giant announced a new series based on Helen Wan’s novel, The Partner Track. Created by Georgia Lee, Partner Track tells the story of Ingrid Yun (Arden Cho), an idealistic young lawyer as she struggles with her moral compass and passion for law as she fights to club the partner track at an elite New York City firm.

The one-hour drama will have Emmy-nomimee Julie Anne Robinson (Bridgerton) directing the first two episodes. Tanya Wexler, Kevin Berlandi, Lily Mariye, and Charles Randolph-Wright will also direct this season.

Partner Track is created and executive produced by Lee, Sarah Goldfinger (Trinkets), Kim Shumway (The 100), Tony Hernandez (Emily in Paris) for JAX Media, and Kristen Campo (The L-Word Gen Q) are also executive producers. Lee and Goldfinger serve as co-showrunners. Wan is a consultant on the project. Bradley Gibson, Alexandra Turshen, Dominic Sherwood, Rob Heaps, Nolan Gerard Funk, and Matthew Rauch also join the cast.

There is no word on when the series will be released.
