New Trailer for ‘Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League’ Debuts at DC FanDome

A new trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, the highly-anticipated video game from Rocksteady Studios, premiered at DC FanDome today. Fandome is a one-day online event showcasing a barrage of upcoming releases from DC Comics and Warner Bros. The makers of the Arkham Asylum games revealed the title at 2020’s inaugural FanDome, and since then details have been scanty. Here’s the new look at Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, which features welcome appearances from Green Lantern, Flash, and the Batmobile!

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is an action-adventure enabling players to inhabit Harley Quinn, Deadshot, King Shark, or Captain Boomerang on a Metropolis-centered mission which involves, apparently, trying to kill Superman and the rest of the Justice League. So, good luck with that? The initial trailer from FanDome 2020 made the game look wildly ambitious, and it’s unclear whether the success of this year’s The Suicide Squad film will complement or confuse the video game iteration of the Squad. But purely on the basis of their superlative Batman games, Rocksteady clearly seems like the team to take on the Task Force X task.

No specific release date was mentioned, so as of now, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is still set to be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox and PC sometime in 2022.
