It’s Star Wars Celebration weekend! And today brought a flood of surprises. News of new films on the horizon! And the reveal of a new poster and trailer for Ahsoka!
This is a huge project for Star Wars Rebels fans. Coming this August, Ahsoka will be the exciting continuation of the storylines started in Rebels and continued in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. Here’s the trailer:
While it’s always exciting to see the return of Rosario Dawson, who made her stellar debut in arguably the best Mandalorian episode, “The Jedi,” the real meat of the project will be the return of the Ghost Crew! I’m talking our first glimpses of Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), and Chopper! And the promise of finishing the storyline that left off at the conclusion of Star Wars Rebels.
Additionally we got a new poster for the show, which is essentially a giant close up of Ahsoka’s face.

Updated 4/8: During the panel for the show at SWC London, we also got a lot more details about the cast including the reveal that Lars Mikkelson will be reprising his role as Grand Admiral Thrawn from Rebels, and Diana Lee Inosanto will also be coming back as Morgan Elsbeth. Additionally Ivanna Sakhno will be joining the Star Wars universe as Shin Hati, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, and David Tennant will be reprising his role as the droid, Huyang from Clone Wars.
