So does The Devil Wears Prada 2, the long-awaited reunion between stars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci follow in the high-end stilettoed footsteps of its well-regarded predecessor? Let’s just say, this time around, the sequel had me pursing my lips.

NOC Review: ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ is Burton Back at His Best

Passion. When you think about the Tim Burton who did Beetlejuice in 1988 and the Burton who did Dumbo in 2019, that’s what separates the two. For a few decades, it looked like the former was lost for good. But after seeing Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, I’m pleased to say, thanks to the help of a delightfully devilish demon, the spark that once defined the director has been found once more!

It’s actually happening! In 1988, Tim Burton released his second feature — a horror comedy called Beetlejuice. At the time, this wasn’t expected to be a tentpole, or a huge blockbuster of any sort. But the movie defied all conventions and expectations of what a quirky and hilarious studio picture could be, becoming a massive success and the legend it is today. Following its release, there was even talk of a sequel, which basically never went through. Until now!

Check Out the New Trailer and Key Art for Hulu’s ‘False Positive’

Hulu has just released an official trailer and new key art for False Positive, which stars Ilana Glazer, Justin Theroux, Pierce Brosnan, Sophia Bush, and Gretchen Mol. A24 serves as the studio, and John Lee is the director. The film is written by Glazer and Lee, who both are producers with Jonathan Wang.
