The Un-Bee-lievable Keegan-Michael Key on ‘Transformers: One’

Keegan-Michael Key is such a prolific voice actor. In just a few years, he’s done it all: Toy Story, Mario, The Lion King, Hotel Transylvania, and so much more. And now, he is setting his sights once again on another iconic franchise, with Transformers One.

Key has demonstrated his incredible comedic skills over the years, becoming one of the most reliably funny comedians and comedy actors on Earth today. I mean who doesn’t love Key and Peele, right? And now he’s about to do the same thing in Cybertron! Taking on the iconic mantle of B-127 — aka Bumblebee — in Transformers One, Key brings his charm and uniquely lovable sense of hyperactivity to the role, becoming a huge scene stealer in an excellent Transformers film.

Now to celebrate the release of Transformers One, we were given the opportunity to sit down with Key and discuss his touches to the character, as well as his reunion with director Josh Cooley, who also did Toy Story 4.

Take a look at what he had to say here:

Transformers: One hits theaters this Friday, September 20!
