‘Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur’ Cast and Crew on the Power of Representation

Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, currently airing on Disney Channel and streaming on Disney+, follows Lunella Lafayette is a 13-year-old genius living with her parents and grandparents in the Lower East Side of New York. One day, she activates a portal and a red, horned Tyrannosaurus steps out of it. Together, the two fight crime, while also addressing the importance of representation and the need to talk about social issues like gentrification.

New Trailer for ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ Teases a Good Life or a Good Death

Oh I’ve been waiting for this one a long time! At one point, we were supposed to get John Wick: Chapter 4 and The Matrix Resurrections at the same time — May 2021. Sadly, of course, the pandemic had other plans. But while Matrix was finally released last December, our buddy John Wick had to be pushed out over a year to March 2023. So is Mr. Wick finally back? In February 2020, a month before the initial shelter-in-place order for California went into effect for the then yet-to-be-declared COVID-19 pandemic, filming began for the fourth installment of The Matrix film franchise on the streets of San Francisco. Thinly veiled under the code name Project Ice Cream, reports circled online of sightings of film locations from all over the city; including one tracked down by yours truly.

Let’s Talk About Police Brutality: A Black-ish Recap

On last night’s episode of the ABC comedy show black-ish, the sitcom took a big chance and dedicated an entire episode on police brutality, racism, and the effectiveness of the American justice system. Although I only catch an episode of this show every now and then, I was made very well aware of this particular episode for some time because of its decision to center this episode on such heavy topics. And boy, it did not disappoint.
