How do you live up to the legacy of a legendary franchise like John Wick? It’s definitely not an easy feat to follow in the footsteps of director Chad Stahelski or actors like Keanu Reeves. Thankfully, Ballerina, the latest installment in the world of John Wick, is equipped with a stellar cast and a director who understands action incredibly well! So without further ado, we are proud to present to you all our conversations with Ballerina director Len Wiseman (Underworld, Live Free Die Hard) and star David Castañeda!

Wiseman has cut his teeth with another legendary franchise: the Underworld series. Given his experience with cinematic gun fights and badass women, it was a no-brainer that he’d do justice to the first female-driven action vehicle in the world of John Wick! However, Wiseman couldn’t do this alone. He needed an amazing cast led by Ana de Armas and Keanu Reeves. We were fortunate enough to speak with actress Sharon Duncan-Brewster earlier this week. And now we’d like to share our conversations with Wiseman and Castañeda, who plays Eve Mecarro’s (aka The Ballerina) father, Javier!
