Five years ago in the before times, my Secret Identities partner-in-crime Jerry Ma exhibited a solo art show called A Chinatown Odyssey about a modern interpretation of The Monkey King and his adventures throughout New York’s Chinatown. Well, for this AAPI Heritage Month, Jerry and the Monkey King are back at Pearl River Mart, but this time he’s brought along some legendary comics artist pals for the ride.

Changing “Harleywood” with the ‘Birds of Prey’

Change is in the air, ladies and gentleman! And this weekend, Los Angeles got a taste of that, when Margot Robbie, director Cathy Yan, and the full cast and crew of Birds of Prey took over Hollywood, in a gloriously chaotic stunt that turned the city into “Harleywood” for four-straight mayhem-fueled days. The massive Hollywood and Highland Center was home to the outfits, vehicles, and props of the film, as well as special photo activations and makeup demonstrations.

The Conjuring creep show is coming to your town with a new immersive touring experience: The Annabelle Comes Home Artifact Tour Truck experience!

Starting in LA and working its way down to Las Vegas before hitting Phoenix, San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas, the haunted caravan of horrors simulates the Warrens’ Artifact Room from the hit Conjuring Universe films, ending with a terrifying encounter with the creepy doll herself, Annabelle!

Photos from 20th Century Fox’s “COSMIX” X-Men Event!

Last week Fox, IW Group, and The Nerd Reactor teamed up to put on a pretty x-citing event to commemorate 19 years of the X-Men film legacy at Downtown Los Angeles’ Wisdome LA! The event featured three EDM musical acts, including up-and-coming rising star Wenzday, as well as some amazing fire dancers and, of course, the immersive art pieces that you could only see at the Wisdome.
