‘Masters of the Universe’ Star Camila Mendes Tells Us All About Teela

Teela has been a staple in every iteration of Masters of the Universe. Without Teela, there is no He-Man. That’s as true today as it ever has been. Her true heritage and how it ties into the grander mythology of Masters of the Universe is essential to the storylines, and how Adam learns to fight and become a mighty warrior is tied to her combat training as the captain of the guards. Talking ‘Spaceballs,’ ‘Rocky,’ and He-Man on the Amazon MGM CinemaCon Red Carpet

Last week was a whirlwind of excitement, as CinemaCon lit up Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas! Though the annual trade show is a business-forward event for theater owners and exhibitors, the major film studios were present to talk about the exciting slate of films expected to light up screens for all larger and smaller theaters across the country. One of the larger presentations of the week was Amazon MGM Studios. Unidentified: Coming Soon to a Roadtrip Near You…

Last week, the movie Unidentified was screened to a select audience of family and friends in Los Angeles. This movie was a two-years-in-the-making-shoe-string-budget-labor-of-love that began with producer/star Eddie Mui‘s bizarre dreams, then expanded into a full fledged movie when Eddie brought producer/star Parry Shen and writer/director Jason Richard Miller on board.
