Gemma Chan Joins ‘Captain Marvel’ as Minn-Erva

Humans star Gemma Chan is joining the MCU in Marvel’s first female-led superhero film, Captain Marvel.

The British actress has been cast as Kree geneticist, Minn-Erva aka Doctor Minvera. In the comics, Minn-Erva was a Kree spy and enemy of Captain Marvel (played by Brie Larson). Chan joins Jude Law, Samuel L. Jackson, and Ben Mendelsohn in the film. Mendelsohn is rumored to play a villainous role as well.
