Welcome Back to the DC FanDome

Suit up, DC Fans! Because on Saturday, October 16, you’re needed back at the DC FanDome!

That’s right! After the overwhelming success of last year’s inaugural virtual event, DC announced earlier this year that DC FanDome would be returning. And as of this morning, we are finally getting an official press release, and an announcement regarding the programming we can expect from this year’s event. And it’s looking to be just as epic the second time around.

An MLK Exhibit Came to ‘Fortnite’ and We Had a Lot of Questions

Epic Games partnered with TIME Studios to bring players an exhibit commemorating the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s in Washington, D.C. The timed, 20-minute virtual experience takes place inside the sandbox builder Fortnite Creative and arrives in time for the 58th Anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. The biggest question following the reveal of the event was, of all virtual spaces, why Fortnite?

LeBron James Reigns Supreme with New ‘Fortnite’ Skin

LeBron “LeFortnite” James is my favorite athlete of all time and if there’s anyone who could get me to actually re-install Fortnite and use my mother’s credit card for a new skin, it’s that dude. Epic announced today that King James is making his Fortnite debut July 14, two days ahead of the premiere of Space Jam: A New Legacy.

Time Gets Trippy in the New Trailer for ‘Tenet’

Oh man, do I love Christopher Nolan!

It’s no secret that we’re living in an unprecedented time where the very existence of the theatrical experience is being threatened. Even if the quarantine is lifted, there’s going to be a lot of hesitation for audiences to return to the big screens. However, if anyone can bring people back to theaters, begging for more — if anyone can provide an argument for why cinema and movies need to be viewed outside the comfort of our own homes, and through immersive experiences we can’t get from streaming on our TVs — it’s Christopher Nolan!
