‘Suicide Squad’ and ‘Gotham Knights’ Games Teased in New DC FanDome Trailer

The newest trailer for DC FanDome dropped today and with it came even more hype to get us ready for next Saturday’s event. What stood out for me though were the brief shots of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Gotham Knights that teased some new footage to come at FanDome.

Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have been building the hype with their new Suicide Squad title since it was announced by Rocksteady back in August 2020. The new trailer from DC FanDome shows brief glimpses of the ragtag team shooting at and standing over soon-to-be revealed subjects. Our guess? The Justice League.

The last decade has seen loads of Suicide Squad related gaming news come and go and none have been more substantial than the information about Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which is set to be released for Windows, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X in 2022.

Next up came a few quick shots of the other highly anticipated DC title Gotham Knights, from WB Games Montréal and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. One of the first shots is of Red Hood meeting up with Nightwing for — it actually doesn’t matter what for, it just looks so badass.

The upcoming RPG will focus on the supporting cast, with Gotham City serving as the backdrop as it descends into more madness than usual, after the death of Batman. Gotham Knights was first announced during last year’s DC FanDome and since then the hype has yet come down.

The first planned release of the game was 2021, but like all major projects impacted by the pandemic and then some, it got pushed to 2022. The game is set to release on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Which game are you most excited about? Let us know on social media!
