‘Ginny & Georgia’ Director James Genn Talks Season 2 and More

It’s hard to believe it’s already been nearly two months since Ginny & Georgia returned for its sophomore season on Netflix. Season 2 quickly followed up on the first season’s success — by the first week of February, the title had been viewed for a whopping 504.77 million hours. Nearly a month after its sophomore season release, Netflix’s Ginny & Georgia continues to dominate the Top 10 charts. The comedy-drama series revolves around the eccentric Georgia (Brianne Howey) and her teenage daughter, Ginny (Antonia Gentry), as they aim to start a new life in the idyllic small town of Wellsbury, Massachusetts. However, Georgia’s got more than a few skeletons in her closet. Like a cross between Gilmore Girls, Big Little Lies, and something else entirely, the series packs in romance, teen angst, family drama, and murder.

Hello, Wisconsin! The Formans are back, and so is the basement. Set 15 years after the events of That ‘70s Show, Netflix’s That ‘90s Show is a direct sequel to its predecessor. Season 1 takes a bit to get off the ground, but once it finds its footing, the sitcom mostly succeeds at being a fun, nostalgia-filled time.
