‘Ready or Not’ Here Comes Radio Silence, aka Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett

Ready or Not came out almost 7 years ago. And while the film, of course, made star Samara Weaving a household name, it also skyrocketed directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (aka “Radio Silence”) into the stratosphere. In the aftermath of the surprise hit, Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett successfully relaunched the then-dormant Scream franchise with two of its best installments, and brought us an amazing little surprise in Abigail. Now, they’re bringing back Weaving’s Grace for another killer game of hide and seek with Ready or Not 2: Here I Come!

NOC Review: ‘Ready or Not 2’ Here Comes a Bloody Badass Sequel

When Ready or Not premiered in 2019, it quickly became a surprise hit, cementing Samara Weaving as a rising horror star and establishing Grace Le Domas MacCaullay as one of the genre’s great modern Final Girls. For me, as well, it was an immensely enjoyable surprise, coming out of nowhere to become one of my favorite movies in a year stacked with heavy hitters like Avengers: Endgame and Parasite.

NOC Review: ‘Lisa Frankenstein’ is a Macabre and Quirky Cult Classic!

The ’80s are alive! THEY’RE ALIVE (sorry I couldn’t resist). Honestly, it’s been a while since we’ve seen a movie like Lisa Frankenstein: a tribute to Tim Burton, Georges Méliès, and the ’80s all rolled into one. The directorial debut of Zelda Williams, with a biting and hilarious script from Diablo Cody, this is a fun, dark, and oddly cute movie that’s not afraid to let its freak flag fly! And that rareness makes it even more special when a film like this comes along.

The Quantum Realm has been a part of the MCU mythology since it was introduced in the first Ant-Man film. Since then, we’ve only seen glimpses of the unexplored world. Seeing the vast wonders of the Quantum Realm in the Ant-Man film franchise was inevitable.
