Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse are a Deadly Duo in ‘Lisa Frankenstein’ Trailer

A killer romance is headed to theaters just in time for Valentine’s Day. Focus Features recently debuted the official trailer for its upcoming horror comedy Lisa Frankenstein, starring Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse.

Penned by Diablo Cody (Jennifer’s Body), the film follows misunderstood teenager Lisa Swallows (Newton), who brings a handsome corpse from the Victorian era (Sprouse) back to life. Together, the duo “embark on a murderous journey to find love, happiness… and a few missing body parts along the way.”

Liza Soberano, Carla Gugino, Joe Chrest, and Henry Eikenberry also star. Zelda Williams serves as director in her feature-length directorial debut. Cody and Mason Novick are co-producers, having previously collaborated on Jennifer’s Body, Juno, and Young Adult.
