After a slight delay last week, today Warner Bros. has released both the new trailer and poster for the next anticipated Wizarding World installment, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore! The film will be a continuation of the prequel series that began with 2016’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Breaking Down ‘The Batman’ Press Event with the Cast and Crew

The light shone brightly on the dimly lit backdrop of the Warner Brothers studio lot during a random night in February. Displayed high above was the familiar shape that represented vengeance and justice: the sleek silhouette of a bat! In a week that was uncharacteristically warm during this time of year, even for Los Angeles, things were about to heat up even more. For shortly, before a limited number of members of the press, The Batman would soon appear!

The New Poster for ‘The Batman’ is Coming in Hot

I actually mean that literally. There’s a lot of fire in this one.

To be honest, I’m not sure what it is with studios giving us some really gorgeous artwork, then slapping together obligatory “disembodied faces” with Photoshop for final posters. The MCU is guilty of it. DC is guilty of it. Star Wars is guilty of it. And it’s not my favorite trend overall.

We are a little over a month and a half away from the most anticipated movie of the year, The Batman! And while we’ve been fortunate enough to get a fair amount of trailers with some epic footage so far, we haven’t seen that many posters for the upcoming movie. Well apparently, WB and DC felt the same way, because they dropped two pieces of artwork today for their big tentpole release of the year.

New Song for ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ from Emerging Artist Quantrelle Released

Part of the reason why the original Matrix movies hacked their way into our hearts has to do with the killer soundtrack featured in all three films. After all, it’s difficult to picture the iconic lobby shootout scene without the Propellerheads’ “Spybreak!” playing in the background. Or the thought of Neo flying into the sky without Rage Against the Machine accompanying the image. And in the grand tradition of those classic films, The Matrix Resurrections has tapped emerging artist, Quantrelle, to do a song for the film, that everyone can see next week, on December 22!

NOC Review: A Stunning, Unsettling Trip Down ‘Nightmare Alley’

I’ve gone on record to discuss in depth my great love for filmmaker, Guillermo Del Toro. I won’t disguise the fact that the man is hands down my favorite filmmaker working today. Sure many love the Spielberg’s, the Campion’s, the Scorsese’s, and with good cause. But for me, no director has ever captivated me with imagination, wit, and maturity than Del Toro. So it should come to the surprise of absolutely no one that I really dug the hell out of Nightmare Alley!

New Poster for ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ Goes Full Jesus Wick

In the fourth sequel, he will come again! As you can tell, I’m having way too much fun finding biblical parallels throughout The Matrix (actually all Keanu Reeves projects). And today is no exception, as WB has just dropped a gorgeous new poster of John Wick absolving his children of their sins for The Matrix Resurrections. The new film, serving as a reboot/sequel of sorts, comes to theaters and HBO Max this Christmas!

DC FanDome has been a BLESSING all day today. But the greatest gift of all, has been this spectacular trailer for The Batman! It’s beginning to look like Matt Reeves is pulling out all the stops to turn this into a unique cinematic vision for the Caped Crusader than others before him (though perhaps skewing a bit closer to the Nolan vision than the others — not a bad thing by the way).
