Walt Disney Animation Studios has released the newest featurette for their upcoming feature Strange World. From directors  Don Hall (Oscar®-winning Big Hero 6, Raya and the Last Dragon) and co-director/writer Qui Nguyen (co-writer Raya and the Last Dragon), the film is a take on the classic pulp comics of the past and centers on a family exploring a strange world that is just as crazy and bizarre just as it is mysterious, thrilling and mind-blowing.

Putting the ‘Bebop’ in ‘Cowboy Bebop’ with Steve Aoki and John Cho

It’s time to jam Bebop fans! Netflix’s Cowboy Bebop debuts today! And while it isn’t perfect, it’s still pretty fun in a pretty campy way. However, the one thing the show gets right is the music! And heavily inspired by the terrific music of the original anime, the music in the new adaptation pays homage, while managing to carve out its own identity for itself (much like the show as a whole). And someone who knows all about that is iconic DJ Steve Aoki!

NOC Review: ‘Cowboy Bebop’ is a Mixed Bag That Will Test the Purists

So much like my review for Snake Eyes, I will set a disclaimer about the fact that I’m by no means a hardcore Cowboy Bebop fan. I’ve seen the full series once through in my life, and I do like it. And I’ve rewatched some of my favorite episodes numerous times, particularly in preparation for the release of this series. But I’m not as emotionally attached or invested in the series as many out there are.

‘Batman: Year One’ Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Special Commemorative Edition

How is a legend created? What separates an individual from the rest of life and history to become something truly greater than flesh and bone? Ten years ago, Warner Bros. released the animated adaptation of Frank Miller’s Batman: Year One, and in that film, all of those answers were discovered. And to this day, the story and legend of the Batman has gripped audiences by their collective cores and continues to take them on the greatest ride imaginable.

Animated ‘Injustice’ Movie Coming This October

Who’s ready for more “evil crazy Superman” action? If your name is Zack Snyder, you probably raised your hand already. Because your favorite edgy storyline (based on a video game rather than an actual comic book — unless you count the comic series inspired by the video game) about everyone’s favorite superhero going crazy and killing a bunch of characters in a dark and broody apocalyptic way is coming to Home Entertainment, courtesy of DC Animation: Injustice!

‘Snake Eyes’ Now Available to Own Digitally; Blu-Ray in October

It’s no secret that Snake Eyes holds a special place in my heart. No matter the critical reception of the film, it was always going to be a movie I celebrate. While I would’ve approached the movie differently, I am still holding out hope for a follow-up film so we can see the further adventures of Henry Golding as Snake Eyes, Andrew Koji as Storm Shadow, and the rest of the cast.

‘Superman: The Complete Animated Series’ Flies Home This October

The Timmverse is hands down my favorite interpretation of the DC Universe. Whether we’re talking about Batman: The Animated Series, or Batman Beyond, all the way up to Justice League Unlimited, no adaptation has ever reached the heights of how good these shows are with their interpretations of these heroes. None. However, often overlooked among this pantheon of adaptations has always been Superman: The Animated Series.

Owen Wilson Talks About Being in the MCU in New ‘Loki’ Featurette

It’s been a long time coming for the celebrated actor Owen Wilson to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s hard to believe he’s never been in a Marvel film or television series. Having been part of the Disney family since 2006 in Disney Pixar’s Cars as the voice of Lightning McQueen, Wilson never really thought about being part of the MCU until he was pitched to by Loki director Kate Herron. Now, Wilson plays Time Variance Authority (TVA) agent, Mobius, who works with Loki (Tom Hiddleston) to stop a rogue variant from killing more of his Time Agents in Marvel Studio’s Loki.
