And I’m going to tell you this straight up: this is currently one of my favorite movies of the year, if not my favorite! Part of that is because of the amazing ensemble, led by a veritable who’s who of horror veterans and their terrific performances, including, Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, and Kathryn Newton. And we were given the extraordinary opportunity to sit down with Stevens and Newton in-person to discuss the project and the buckets of blood they swam through to bring the best horror film this year to life.

And the year prior they released the final film of David Gordon Green’s Halloween trilogy, and the critical and commercial hit, The Black Phone, paving the way for the juggernauts of Insidious: The Red Door and Five Nights at Freddy’s.
