The Summer of Shyamalan is coming! With the debut of the trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s next film Trap last week, and now the latest trailer for Ishana Night Shyamalan’s The Watchers today, we are getting a double dose of creepy from the family Shyamalan this summer, like a traumatically twisted von Trapp family performance!

The Watchers marks the feature directorial debut from Ishana Night Shyamalan, who also wrote the screenplay. And it looks like creepiness runs in the family (in a good way, not a “middle-aged father at a Lady Raven concert” way). The younger Shyamalan cut her teeth in the Apple TV+ series, Servant, but she’s getting the big-screen treatment now, with a feature adapted from A.M. Shine’s novel, and starring Dakota Fanning, Georgina Campbell, Oliver Finnegan, and Olwen Fouere.
