The saga continues with Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two, which serves as the next chapter of Frank Herbert’s novel. The film’s all-star cast includes Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Dave Bautista, Christopher Walken, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Léa Seydoux, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem.
What an incredible journey it has been for the galaxy’s favorite a-holes! But all good things must come to an end, be it an Infinity Saga or a cosmic journey about a dysfunctional family of losers who band together to win each other (and the audience) over.
On the final Hard NOC Life before we go on hiatus, Dominic, Britney, and Keith rank Andor against other live action Star Wars projects, including the Holiday Special from the 1970s. Speaking of Holiday Specials, James Gunn brings the tradition back with a special Guardians of the Galaxy mission to save Christmas.

But this year for Christmas, there’s something fans would really like from Kevin Feige. So if you can hear those sleigh bells coming around that Disney+ bend, then consider watching James Gunn’s The Guardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Special to mark this year’s end. It’s time for another mystery folks, and Benoit Blanc, last of the gentleman sleuths, is back on the case! Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is hitting select theaters just in time for Thanksgiving, and to celebrate, we want to take you guys into all the fun and mystery from the film’s global press conference.
Benoit Blanc is back! And once more, he’s investigating another shocking mystery with a group of unsavory suspects aboard an eccentric billionaire’s glass onion in Greece; words that would only make sense in a Rian Johnson whodunnit. Among this cadre of characters is Peg (Jessica Henwick), the long suffering assistant of fashion icon Birdie Jay (Kate Hudson), and Whiskey (Madelyn Cline), the girlfriend of gun-enthusiast and alt-right male-rights activist, Duke (Dave Bautista).
Christmas time has come. That means toys for everyone. And for Marvel Studios fans, it means the release of their latest Special Presentation, TheGuardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Special. Director James Gunn reimagines the Christmas classic film with a bit of an MCU flair and some perfectly curated needle drops that embrace everything we love about the ragtag group and the holidays, while also throwing in a few surprises as well.
How great is it that we have a Benoit Blanc cinematic universe? Given the major critical and commercial hit that Knives Out was, it was easy to see why the demand for more adventures with Daniel Craig’s super sleuth was inevitable.

Disney has released the first The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, and it brings all sorts of good cheer to Marvel Studio fans. While James Gunn spreads joy across the galaxy, it seems that Star-Lord is still depressed about Gamora not being around. So it will be up to Drax (Dave Bautista) and Mantis (Pom Klementieff) to help lift him up with a little holiday spirit that comes in the form of a gift called Kevin Bacon.
In a very exciting surprise from this morning, writer/director Rian Johnson (Knives Out, Looper, Star Wars: The Last Jedi) took to social to announce the title for the highly anticipated sequel to Knives Out!

In 2014, the world was introduced to the Guardians of the Galaxy! And out of a whole team of amazing breakthrough characters, the biggest breakout was the gentle and hilarious Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel). Sadly, that iteration of Groot met his end at the conclusion of the first film, but thankfully, a new Groot was spawned, and the world met Baby Groot!
When it comes to MCU news, I tend to air on the side of caution. Given we aren’t a click bait publication, we don’t (and shouldn’t) report on anything that’s just rumored or speculative without basis or educated reason for speculation (like an officially released trailer or poster). But with that being said, given this morning’s tweets from both director James Gunn and Marvel Studios, we can officially report that production is finally underway on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3!

Sometimes there are movies that just come into your life, and live rent free in your brain days or weeks after you’ve seen them. That’s how you know you generally love them, and they make a profound impact on you. Either you replay or relive scenes that made you smile or blew you away. Furthermore, when you see them again, you still smile, or laugh, or get goosebumps. The Matrix in 1999. The Fellowship of the Ring in 2001. The Dark Knight in 2008. The Avengers in 2012 and Endgame in 2019.
Recently, members of the press, including The Nerds of Color, were given the privilege of speaking directly with the visionary director behind Dune. During the conversation, Villeneuve was asked about Dune being an example of the White Savior trope, among many other questions, and he wanted to make it specifically clear that while many have taken the surface-level concept of the story and expressed condemnations for it based on that, interpreting the story as such would actually be missing the true point of it.
