It was revealed earlier this month that the return of the longest running British sci-fi series, Doctor Who, will be coming this May. While snippets have been released here and there since the Christmas special of what’s to come of this upcoming season, it’s the official trailer dropped today that really goes in on what to expect in full force.

The upcoming season of Doctor Who is jam packed of adrenaline-inducing adventures across time and space. From exploring the Butterfly Effect in prehistoric times, to companion Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson) living out her Bridgerton dreams, and the Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) doing whatever he can to prevent a nightmarish future.

There’s so much to see in the trailer alone, that it requires more than one viewing to take in everything. But if there’s one thing to say from just one viewing alone is that whatever is about to happen look really good.

Doctor Who will be back with a two-episode premiere on Friday, May 10 on Disney+ worldwide, and on Saturday, May 11 on BBC iPlayer for viewers in the UK.
