BIO: Francis Abbey earned degrees in Criminology and Spanish at the University of Maryland and completed graduate studies in film and television at the Savannah College of Art and Design. During his time in Savannah, Abbey focused on writing and directing, completing several short scripts, teleplays, and feature length screenplays, including Truth or Consequences, which was a Project Greenlight quarter-finalist. In 2006, his original script, Pennsyltucky, placed fourth out of 2,000 entries in the Slamdance Screenplay Competition. As an actor, Abbey has been in a number of films and has lent his voice to narrations and commercial voiceovers. Abbey wrote, directed, and produced his first feature film, Boxing Day, in 2008. Made for just $2,000 and shot largely over two weekends, Boxing Day has gone on to play at multiple film festivals, earn enthusiastic reviews, and win several awards. Abbey completed a second feature, 6 Nonsmokers, in 2010. In 2013, Abbey co-produced and co-wrote a feature adaptation of the play Of Dice and Men. His original fantasy webseries, The Broken Continent, is now available at getbroken.tv.

Patrick Strange

Patrick Michael Strange AKA Kuya P is the Host & Executive Producer of ShoPowSho and The New Release Wednesday Show; produced in conjunction with the society and culture website, The Nerds of Color. Patrick is also the founder of the charity cosplay organization, CosLove, which promotes self-expression and creativity as well as support to communities via family events and regular visits to schools and hospitals nationwide. In other pursuits, Patrick is an actor and member of the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Arts (SAG-AFTRA), he is the creator of the convention panel, "Totally Awesome Asians" spotlighting Asian and Pacific Islanders heroes and creators contributions within pop culture and is a regular convention guest hosting panels and cosplay contests. Patrick also helped found and organize, Wicomicon, a pop culture event highlighting nerds of color that received national media attention by press outlets such as The Hollywood Reporter, SyFy, TheMarySue, Paste Magazine, Publisher's Weekly, Vulture and others.
