Guys, the friggin’ Tune Squad is back! I never thought in 25 years I’d have said something like that, but my 10-year old self is actually really excited. Back in November 1996, the original Space Jam debuted about a week prior to Disney’s live-action 101 Dalmatians film, and has since become a frequently discussed cult classic! Man so much has changed since then! It’s 2021, and now instead we’re getting Space Jam: A New Legacy and Cruella within a month and a half of each other. Indeed, the times they are a-changin’. But I digress.
This morning, WB dropped a series of character posters for the new sequel, starring LeBron James instead of Michael Jordan, and like I said, I’m actually getting pretty excited for this one! Let’s hope New Legacy lives up to the original! Check out the posters below!

Space Jam: A New Legacy hits theaters and HBO Max, July 16, 2021!
I was a grown up when this happened but the nostalgic factor is still strong because I grew up on Looney Tunes! Those were my go-to comfort toons, so I do fondly remember this movie, and I’m looking forward to it!
Right? The original really did justice to Bugs, Daffy, and the rest of the gang!
Can’t. Wait.😊🌺
