Phoebe Waller-Bridge Joins the Cast of the Next ‘Indiana Jones’

A new player for a new adventure! That’s right folks. Today, Lucasfilm announced that global treasure, Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag) has joined the cast of the next Indiana Jones adventure! Phoebe will naturally star alongside the obviously already confirmed Harrison Ford, who is stepping back in the fedora one final time.

In addition to the casting news, Lucasfilm also confirmed that the legendary John Williams, who helped bring Indy to life nearly 40 years ago with his iconic Raiders of the Lost Ark score, will return once more to send Indy off in a fitting blaze of gorgeous fanfare and glory!

The film will be produced by Steven Spielberg, who will be handing down the whip to the incredible James Mangold — the man who gave us the amazing Logan and 2019’s Ford Vs. Ferrari. Joining Spielberg in the director’s chair will be long-time collaborators Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall, and Simon Emanuel.

Indiana Jones will return to theaters for this fifth installment, July 29, 2022.
