Leslie Bibb stars as Grace Sampson aka Lady Liberty in Netflix’s newest series, Jupiter’s Legacy. The show drops on May 7 and is based on the graphic novels by Mark Millar and Frank Quitely. The new superhero drama spans decades while showcasing the complicated dynamics of family, power, and loyalty.
After nearly a century of keeping mankind safe, the world’s first generation of superheroes must look to their children to continue the legacy. But tensions rise as the young superheroes, hungry to prove their worth, struggle to live up to their parents’ legendary public reputations— and exacting personal standards.

Grace is married to Sheldon and the glue keeping the Sampson family from completely falling apart. She is one of the founding members of The Union, Lady Liberty being one of the most powerful superheroes on the planet. While Grace does not always agree with Sheldon, she does her best to balance his ideals with the reality of the modern, and often violent, world they live in.

I got to speak with the actress about being part of a show based on such beloved graphic novels and bringing a strong, powerful female superhero to life! Watch my interview below to see what she had to say.
