Netflix’s hit coming-of-age comedy series Never Have I Ever, starring Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as Indian American teenager Devi as she continues dealing with the everyday pressures of high school and drama at home, is getting closer to being released. So we wanted to take this time to share some of the content that has been revealed. 

Last season, we saw Devi realizing her feelings for sad rich kid Ben (Jared Lewison) and ended up making out with the guy in his car. At the same time, Paxton Hall-Yoshida (Darren Barnet) attempts to reach Devi after he realizes his feelings for her. This season is going to be a doozy for Devi as she struggles to choose who to be with. So much so, we see her create a PROS and CONS board for the two men vying for her affections. 

As for Devi’s mom Nalini (Poorna Jagannathan), she is still coming to terms with the loss of her husband. Fortunately this season, Nalini may have a suitor in the very handsome Dr. Chris Jackson (Common). In a recent Q&A with the cast and creatives of Never Have I Ever, Jagannathan said that Nalini will be ready to date. “I think she’d be really hesitant about dating and if it happens, it will be by surprise because she’s focused on other things right now,” said Jagannathan. “She’ll very much be blind-sighted.”

Not much is revealed in the images of the other people in Devi’s life — Kamala (Richa Moorjani), Fabiola (Lee Rodriguez), and Eleanor (Ramona Young). Hopefully, we will get more information on Kamala’s attractive potential fiancé, Fabiola’s relationship, and anything surrounding Eleanor. Barnet did reveal in the same Q&A that season two will show more of Paxton’s home life and his relationship with his sister, Rebecca (Lily D Moore).

Created by executive producer Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, Never Have I Ever is set to release sometime in July of this year. We can’t wait.
