Megastars Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert’s ‘We Got Love’ Arrives This September

This September, we’ll get an inside look at the life journey and goings on of power couple Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert with their new docu-series We Got Love Teyana & Iman on the E! network. The dynamic duo embark on the ultimate life journey, navigating the many realities of married life, raising children, and creating work as career artists. We Got Love Teyana & Iman takes an authentic and unfiltered inside look at the life of Teyana, Iman, and their daughters Junie B, Baby Rue, as well as their tight-knit entourage of family and friends.

Both superstars have built an empire but they’re not done yet. From Teyana’s incredible work as a choreographer and musician, to Iman’s exceptional career as an NBA champion turned hip-hop artist, the two of them will grant audiences unprecedented access, never-before-seen in a celebrity docu-series until now. They have major goals and high ambitions, but they’ll never lose sight of what’s really important, family. A special half hour first look of the series aired back in June and the series will make its premiere Thursday, September 2.

MEET TEYANA AND IMAN

TEYANA TAYLOR

Harlem-born singer, dancer, actress, and choreographer, Teyana “Spike Tey” Taylor has produced a career with her own authoritative order. Teyana’s career exemplifies what it means to be a renaissance woman. She executive produced her #1 charting R&B Billboard album, The Album, and served as creative director and choreographer to several sold out tours. Teyana has choreographed for Beyoncé and turned Kanye West’s “Fade” into a viral sensation. Her ability to craft brilliant detail in all her works has led her to creative direct for brands such as Adidas, Reebok and Jordan Brand. Teyana’s elite storytelling skills also awarded her BET’s 2020 Video Director of the Year. Taylor has since launched her all-female production company, The Aunties Inc. to help artists like herself find their full creative potential.

IMAN SHUMPERT

Iman became a fan favorite in New York for his gritty defensive play and signature haircut, reminiscent of past Knicks players. He was drafted #17 by the New York Knicks in 2011 and played four seasons for the team. He went on to win an NBA Championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers  and played for the Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings and Brooklyn Nets. His fans now know him for his musical talents, with his most recent musical release “Joyride” showcasing his skills off the court. In addition to writing lyrics daily, he continues to work on various musical projects and build his record label, A Sinner’s Peace. Iman found that fashion and design really allowed his creativity to flourish while growing up outside of Chicago in Oak Park, Illinois in the 1990s. He has now grown from wearing and modeling clothes to designing his own clothing brand called Centerpiece. Iman wants people to be inspired to become the centerpiece of their family and their own life.
