New Character Posters for ‘Dune’ Drop Ahead of Trailer’s Release

It’s a great time to be a fan of Dune. The long awaited big-budget adaptation of Frank Herbert’s seminal classic is at long last coming this fall. This week is going to be a big one for fans, because today WB just dropped the character posters for all of the biggest stars in the film, including Timothee Chalamet’s Paul and Zendaya’s Chani. I’m loving everything I’ve seen from the film so far, and I’m really looking forward to it’s release because Denis Villeneuve is such an amazing director. However, I gotta say, apart from Stellan Skarsgard’s poster, it would be easy to confuse these with character posters from Tom Hooper’s Les Miserables. It’s just a lot of face and sadness for a poster series. I’m not saying these guys need to smile, but I don’t know — look more epic?
