Here we go folks! FX has finally dropped a trailer for the long anticipated Y: The Last Man adaptation, and it looks spectacular!
Per FX:
Based on DC Comics’ acclaimed series by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra, Y: The Last Man traverses a post-apocalyptic world in which a cataclysmic event decimates every mammal with a Y chromosome but for one cisgender man and his pet monkey. The series follows the survivors in this new world as they struggle with their efforts to restore what was lost and the opportunity to build something better.
The tone for the adaptation looks moody and somber, more along the lines of Children of Men than The Walking Dead. And that, for me, is exactly what you needed to create an adaptation of one of the best comic book series of the modern age! Check out the trailer right here:
