There has been a lot of talk behind having The Blind Man aka Norman Nordstrom (Stephen Lang) of the first Don’t Breathe film to now be the protagonist in the upcoming Don’t Breathe 2. Executive producers/creators Fede Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues, who also serves as director, discussed the idea of Norman being the bad guy in the story.

As for the child, Phoenix (Madelyn Grace), who is under Norman’s supervision and learning survival skills, she sees the gruesome things he has done. Will the trauma of seeing that turn her evil as well? Alvarez and Sayagues says not at all. Instead, she serves as a positive light for Norman. They also discussed what it was like working on the first film and what they learned for making the second.
