Get a First Look at Netflix’s New Dramatic Limited Series, ‘True Story’

Netflix has shared first look images as well as the release date for a new seven episode limited series. True Story stars Kevin Hart, Wesley Snipes, Tawny Newsome, Will Catlett, Paul Adelstein, Theo Rossi, Ash Santos, John Ales, Chris Diamantopoulos, Lauren London, and Billy Zane. The drama is executive produced by Eric Newman and produced by Hartbeat Productions.

A tour stop in Kid’s (Hart) hometown of Philadelphia becomes a matter of life and death for one of the world’s most famous comedians when the consequences of a lost evening with his wayward older brother (Snipes) threaten to destroy everything he’s built.

True Story marks Hart’s dramatic series debut and the actor also serves as an executive producer. Stephen Williams will direct and executive produce the first three episodes as well. Hanelle Culpepper will direct the final four episodes of the series.
