Kathryn Hahn portrays Phyllis in The Shrink Next Door. The highly anticipated limited series is inspired by true events and an original podcast of the same name. The first three episodes will premiere Friday, November 12 on Apple TV+, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday.
Inspired by true events and an original podcast of the same name, The Shrink Next Door follows the decades-long manipulation and exploitation by psychiatrist Dr. Isaac “Ike” Herschkopf (Paul Rudd) and his longtime patient Martin “Marty” Markowitz (Will Ferrell). Dr. Ike is accompanied by his unsuspecting wife Bonnie Herschkopf (Casey Wilson) and though Marty may be defenseless against Dr. Ike enticing offerings, his hard-headed sister Phyllis (Kathryn Hahn) is not.

Hahn recently starred in Marvel Studios’ WandaVision as Agnes / Agatha Harkness. Her other notable television credits include Crossing Jordan, Free Agents, Parks and Recreation, Happyish, I Love Dick, I Know This Much Is True, Mrs. Fletcher, and Transparent.
The actress can be seen in Bad Moms, A Bad Moms Christmas, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Step Brothers, Wanderlust, We’re the Millers, Bad Words, Afternoon Delight, The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard, She’s Funny That Way, This Is Where I Leave You, The D Train, Private Life, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, The Visit, The Last Mimzy, The Holiday, Our Idiot Brother, Flower, Revolutionary Road, and How Do You Know.
Hahn has also voiced characters in Central Park, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation. Upcoming, she lends her voice in Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, which is set to be released worldwide January 14 on Prime Video. Next, she is set to star in Knives Out 2.
