Sneak Peek: D’Arcy Carden and Danny Trejo on ‘The Ghost and Molly McGee’

Disney Channel’s The Ghost and Molly McGee have had its fair share of star-studded guest stars including Kelsey Grammar, Natasha Rothwell, Greta Gerwig, Yvette Nicole Brown and Jane Lynch. Now, D’Arcy Carden (The Good Place) and Danny Trejo (Machete) joins the list as they appear in this Saturday morning’s episode, titled “Scare Tactics/The Bad Boy Bobby Daniels.”

In Scare Tactics, Scratch must attend a mandatory Scare meeting, but decides to ditch class for a fun day off with Geoff. Now, he must find a way to pass his scare test. Carden guest stars as Pango, a chipper ghost who teaches the yearly scaring seminar.

Trejo makes an appearance in the episode, ‘The Bad Boy Bobby Daniels’ as the title character Bobby Daniels, an old flame of Patty’s. Molly and Scratch want to reunite the the former lovebirds after finding out losing him was Patty’s biggest “regurt.”

Created by Emmy Award-winning writing and producing duo Bill Motz and Bob Roth, The Ghost and Molly McGee follows tween optimist Molly, who lives to make the world a better place, and grumpy ghost Scratch, whose job is to spread misery. When one of Scratch’s curses backfires, he finds himself forever bound to Molly, creating an unlikely friendship that leads to humorous misadventures as they navigate Molly’s new school and town. The voice cast includes Ashly Burch as Molly McGee; Dana Snyder as Scratch; Jordan Klepper as Pete McGee, Molly’s anxiously idealistic father; Michaela Dietz as Darryl, Molly’s mischievously entrepreneurial brother; and Sumalee Montano as Sharon McGee and Grandma Nin, Molly’s creatively pragmatic mom and adoring grandmother, respectively.
