The Cast of ‘Ramy’ on What’s in Store for the Hassan Family in Season 3

When we find the Hassan family at the start of Ramy Season 3, the son of the family has brought not only shame, but severe consequences for his family that threaten the life they’ve built in the States. Where do they go from here, and will they ever be able to pay back their debts? How will the Hassan family change through their experiences this season?

In anticipation of the new season debuting on September 30, we were fortunate enough to speak with series creator and star Ramy Youssef, along with his co-stars Hiam Abbass, May Calamawy, and Laith Nakli.

In our conversations, we discussed what each aims to bring with their characters, the creative decision to explore Ramy’s Palestinian heritage through his mother and to go to Palestine, and overall what viewers should expect from this season.
